Flashdance (Alter Interagro x Enchanted)

Flashdance is a 2010 Lusitano Warmblood cross. One of our favorite personalities in the barn, Flashdance lives up to her name. Always ready for work and adding in her own spice and pzazz. A homebred Lusitano/Holsteiner cross, she possesses top quality traits of both breeds. The activity and sensitivity of the Spanish breed and the hindleg impulsion of the warmblood. Showing Intermediare 1 and schooling the Grand Prix. We are excited to announce a happy and healthy colt by Morricone out of Flashdance… out of Rosie, our wonderful surrogate via embryo transfer. This colt has incredible body type and movement.

Everett AS (Sir. Sinclair x Enchanted)

'09 KWPN G by Sir Sinclair. He is a special horse for sure. Our barn celebrity with a lovely personality to match! Everett is known as the piaffe king because of his natural ability for collection and engagement. Another homebred for Melissa, he was quite literally born in her back yard. Shown PSG with scores in the mid 60’s and schooling all the Grand Prix. Unfortunately is 2020, Everett lost his battle with EDM, a rare and difficult neurological disease. He remains in memory everyday from what he taught all those that had a part in his life. Forever the Fresh Prince.

Our own Black Beauty. Salon is an 18 year old Czech Warmblood gelding owned by Lynn Eastburn and in training with Melissa. A kind soul with talent to match any competitive FEI horse. A favorite of everyone who works with him. Salon came to us later in life and has found his place among the team. Successfully competing the I1 with scores in the mid 60’s. Salon made his Grand Prix debut in Wellington Florida during the 2021 Season! Salon is enjoying his retirement from competition by join on long hacks with his owner and providing educational lessons to some doting students.

Roscoe Columba

Our senior competitor, Roscoe is still going at the the spry age of 25. Now under the guidance of Ashley, he is showing her the ropes of upper level balance and connection. Melissa’s former Prix St. Georges horse, he has shown at Dressage at Devon and other championship venues.

Contango’s Jag

An 07’ Gelding by Contago, Jag has been with us since 2016. A former Eventer, Kate switched to dressage full time and has since found her passion. They received their USDF Bronze medal in 2019 and continue to school some upper level movements as he steps back from the busy competition life. He is currently in lease with a lovely client passing along his knowledge. Jag has a natural talent for piaffe and half pass making the tricks fun.

Cosmos Zakira

Owned by Katyn Thomas, Kira is an imported 2012 Danish Warmblood Mare by Blue Hors Zack out of a Welt Hit II dam. Coming to us in fall of 2022, Kira has shown incredible talent for the upper levels. With her experience showing MA level in Denmark and schooling the Grand Prix. Competing at Intermediare 1 we look forward to a successful season. She is incredibly sweet and with a funny personality we are pleased to welcome her to our program.

For Sale- SOLD

Philomina CRD is a 2022 filly by the legendary dressage stallion Furstenball out of Rambunctious AS (x R.Johnson) and is the full sister to Nashville, who is finding success in the hunter ring as a 6 year old. Mina is extremely easy to handle on the ground and stands quietly for the farrier, grooming, and bathing. She shows little concern for trailer loading and travel and is confident around the property. As a two year old, she is tall and mature in her body showing uphill movement and a free shoulder with a powerful hind leg. She is well started in lunging and carries a natural balance. While free lunging she shows natural lead changes and good cadence in her gaits as well as nice impulsion and suspension. Video of Mina shown at liberty and lunging.

Nashville - SOLD

We wish her new owners the most success with this lovely young horse!

Fancy 2018 Filly by the dressage stallion Furstenball out of our own Rambunctious AS (x R.Johnson) She was under saddle June 2021 and is going walk, trot and canter confidently. She is schooling baby green courses with ease. Perfect for the hunter ring. Very Amateur friendly but fancy enough for a professional. The easiest young horse I have ever started.

UPDATE July 2023 - Nashville has been in professional Hunter/Jumper training since May 2022. She is currently campaigning in the 5YO Hunter classes and winning with her owner! We love receiving updates on their success.
