On the wee morning hours of Tuesday May 10th we welcomed a healthy colt by Flashdance X Morricone! We are super excited about our first successful embryo transfer of my FEI Lusitano/Holsteiner mare Flashdance into our lovely surrogate Rosie, who is proving to be a sweet, attentive mother.

Morricone is the 2014 Oldenburg Champion Stallion and he was met with a standing ovation in Vechta. All three days Morricone captivated spectators and impressed the judges. His Pedigree reads like a picture book as the son of Millenium/T, bred by Heinrich Vahle in Friesoythe, and Morricone offers a quality bloodline that brings Gribaldi and De Niro blood into a modern sport horse. De Niro, the son of Donnerhall, dominated the WBFSH ranking as best sire of the world for years and has left a legacy behind him, while the dam's sire Rubin Royal has produced over 25 approved sons.

We are very excited to see how this young man grows and what the future holds. He is already showing the spunk and spice of his tenacious mother. We hope he has her incredible work ethic and desire to please. We are already seeing an improvement from the breeding in the shoulder freedom and longer body lines.
